Holden Rodeo with Haltech Interceptor Chip

The Interceptor provides tuning of fuel mixtures, ignition timing and boost levels if turbocharged. As the Haltech Interceptor works with the factory ECU, you need only tune where necessary, with the factory levels of economy, idle quality, cold start etc being fully maintained. The Haltech Interceptor is a totally new "piggy back" ECU designed to work in parallel with your existing factory ECU. Cleaner burning engines produce more power more quickly and as a result more fuel efficient. Tuning can be altered throughout the vehicles life to keep the engine running smoothly and fuel efficient at all times. Gone are the days of not being able to adjust your vehicles engine tune.
Laptop tuning.
The Haltech Interceptor is housed in a water resistant case, in this instance the unit is fitted under the bonnet next the factory ECU that is mounted on the inlet manifold.
The green dotted line on the Dyno graph indicates that the factory fuel ratios on this Rodeo are extremely rich. The solid green line shows the factory power curve throughout the rev range and peeks at 97Kw's.
The pink dotted line indicates the huge difference in air fuel ratio now making this Rodeo clearly more efficient in engine operation and will also enhance acceleration and throttle response.
The pink solid line indicates the power throughout the rpm range making a peek of 108Kw's. There's a noticeable difference from when the throttle opens till red line in power. Back to back you can see the differences that can be achieved using the new Haltech Interceptor. Cleaner burning engine means a cleaner environment and a happier engine. |
